Artist In Residence

Some Artension artists are available for residencies

Some of the benefits of having an artist in residence:

Pupils/community get more opportunity to participate in the artistic process.

The Pupils/community get a closer and more personal experience of how art is made.

The resulting artwork is often site specific, inspired by the location or its people

Residencies take various forms:

Short Term	One Week, working on site.
Long Term (visits)	Over a longer period (e.g. term or year) visiting once a week.
Long Term (Residential)	Where possible the artist lives on site, or in the community for a period of 3weeks or more
